Last year Friends of Wainui celebrated 20 years of restoring native bush to their 10 ha corner of Wainui Reserve. Their AGM at 10.30am on Monday 17 February will be at the Gazebo in Friends of Wainui Bush Park, which is beside the ponds and surrounded by regenerating bush.

The AGM will be discussing how to continue the work and the priorities for the next year. Most of the Friends income now comes from the Panorama of Raglan Calendar, which has earned the group enough to buy a new lawnmower this year. The price of the calendar has now been reduced to $10 and is on sale at the Raglan Bookshop and Te Uku store and Roast Office.

Before the AGM there will be the usual tasks to do starting at 9am, including lawn mowing, checking if recently planted trees need watering, weeding and trimming growth back from tracks. All are welcome to join in with both the work and the AGM.
