Feb 23: Raglan Ramblers tracking down Tallest Kahikatea

On Wednesday the 23rd February, Raglan Ramblers will be tracking down the Tallest Kahikatea on Pirongia. This is a thirteen kilometre walk through the valley, mostly through bush and alongside streams, to see the 66.5m high tallest tree and also a hollow tree. Please bring your lunch.

Each “Rambler” accepts responsibility for any accident or injury received while travelling, or walking over private property. Be prepared – carry enough food, clothing, first aid kit for emergencies and preferably a mobile phone.
