Although double decker buses were promised to Raglan as coming in mid-2018, the latest advice from Waikato Regional Council is that they won’t be here till 2019. WRC says it is planning a double decker open day at the Raglan i-SITE so the community knows about the buses.
A WRC spokesperson said, “We’re still working through the infrastructure issues with regard to bus stops. The new double decker route will take in James Street and Bow Street and we’re awaiting confirmation about these stops, and then implementation.Current plan is route change and double decker implementation January, 2019.“
