Most of the attention in the Places for People – He Whenua he Tangata project is focussed on the creation of a pedestrian area at the harbour end of Bow Street. Changes to parking are proposed for the central area outside Isobar and Ray White. In this area the current parallel parking will be converted to diagonal parking. This change will increase the number of parking spaces.
