On Wednesday 8 December Raglan Ramblers will be walking on the north shore. They will head to Te Kaha Point and back via Horea trig point to Te Akau Wharf. The ferry and walk will go from the jetty at the bottom of Bow St. As some may not have got the message about the change, anybody at their usual James St meeting place at 9am, those without a vaccination pass for the ferry, might also meet for a walk on the Raglan side of the harbour. Alternatively they could walk to the jetty for the second ferry.

The ferry will cost $10, or $20 for those who want to be socially distanced and not sit side by side.

There is no membership – the only cost is 10 cents per km to share travel costs. Details from John 825 7866. Check out Raglan Ramblers on Facebook-https://www.facebook.com/RaglanRamblers/. All walks start at 9am from the James St/ Wallis St corner near Catholic church.

Each “Rambler” accepts responsibility for any accident or injury received while travelling, or walking over private property. Be prepared – carry enough food, clothing, first aid kit for emergencies and preferably a mobile phone.
