Raglan Movies at the Old School has four movies screening this weekend:
Stuff 4 Stars: “Documentarian Ceda Torun’s feature-length debut is far more likely to be catnip for feline lovers. Dedicated to the moggies of Istanbul and the people who love and care for them, it showcases an eclectic collection of kedi (Turkish for cat).”
BAD MOMS 2 is on Saturday 2nd at 8.15pm for a final Raglan screening.
The Bad Moms are back. Amy (Kunis), Carla (Hahn) and Kiki (Bell) struggle to cope when their respective mothers visit for Christmas.
NO ORDINARY SHEILA is on Saturday 2nd at 4.00pm.
NZ Herald 3.5/5 Stars “Shelia is the star of the show. The tenacity with which she’s explored her many passions and interests, generous spirit and lovely sense of humour, will leave you inspired, uplifted and probably moved.”
I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO is back for an encore screening on Sunday 3rd at 7.00pm.
“I Am Not Your Negro is a thrilling introduction to James Baldwin’s work, a remedial course in American history, and an advanced seminar in racial politics – a concise, roughly 90-minute movie with the scope and impact of a 10-hour mini-series or a literary doorstop.” — A.O. Scott, NY Times
