Raglan Old School Arts Centre news
An exhibition by Carson Foley, a New York-based artist and tattooer, will open at the Old School Arts Centre, 5 Stewart Street on December 15th and run till the 23rd. It is open every day from 10am-2pm.
Opening night at Raglan Old School Arts Centre is Saturday, December 15 from 6pm and all are welcome.
Carson Foley is in Raglan as part of Purlieu, which is a hybrid between a guest spot and an artist-in-residence programme. Purlieu promotes the development of traditional, contemporary and experimental tattooing. It provides tattooists with a positive environment to retreat, tattoo and make in Raglan.
The annual, month-long summer residency is offered to outstanding interdisciplinary tattooists, and includes a guest spot at Raglan Tattoo and an exhibition opportunity at the Old School Arts Centre.
