Road and drainage works are underway in Raglan’s Main Road from East Street to just before Norrie Avenue. Waikato District Council describe the work as an ‘Urban Upgrade’. The project started last week and it is hoped that it will be completed by the end of April.
Councillor Baddeley said that the works were another step in the continuing initiatives to improve the appearance and safety for visitors coming into Raglan. He said, “The storm water drainage improvements are something that has asked for by many residents to stop flooding and run-off problems in this area.”
