RCoC Breakfast at The Shack- Corina Bruce
Tuesday 12th May 2015 at 7.30am
Corina is a retired Naval Commander, a member of the NZ Institute of Directors, Board member of the NZNRSA, finalist in the 2014 Women of Influence Awards and wife of local coffee entrepreneur Tony Bruce and mother of two adult daughters.
Come and hear the story of one of Raglan’s most exceptional residents.
Modest and understated, Corina is a retired Naval Commander. She was the first female officer to serve at sea in the history of the NZ Navy, and was also the first female ever appointed as the Commanding Officer of HMNZ Philomel, at the navel base in Devonport, Auckland.
Corina was a finalist in the 2014 Women of Influence Awards in the Board and Management category.
Corina and her husband Tony Bruce are shareholders in the successful Raglan Roast and are also involved in several companies based in Raglan. They live across the harbour at Te Akau.
This will be an inspiring breakfast event as Corina shares her unique story, and tells us how it is to be a trail blazer, and an inspiration, to all women who ever wondered how to get ahead in a man’s world.
Please come early and place your food and drink orders before 7.30am so we can start promptly.
