And there is plenty of pre-Christmas action around town this weekend starting with the evening open studio at Matapihi Gallery last night. And today, Saturday you can learn how to fix your bike at the Town Hall, then cycle to the Twilight Market starting at the Old School at 3pm, then stay for a movie (The Christmas Candle) at 8.15.
Or hop down to the wharf for the Smokehouse band from 4pm. After the sun goes down, Tractor FM will be having their Christmas Party at Rockit and Those Automatic Chargers will be pounding away at the YOT Club from 9pm.
On Sunday the sailors are out at Lorenzen Bay from 11.30. There’s another screening of The Christmas Candle at the Old School at 4.30pm. A Sunday Session starts up at the YOT Club yard from 4.20pm. Jon Sanders is back in town for a gig at Valente’s at 7.30pm.
