Christmas comes to the Old School on Saturday 21 December, with a Twilight Christmas Market and screening of feel-good family film The Christmas Candle.
Open from 3pm-8pm, the market will feature a fantastic selection of arts and crafts (perfect for that last-minute Christmas shopping) live entertainment, delicious food and a Sunset Bar (from 7pm).
Face painting and free cartoons in the theatre room should keep the kids entertained…and rumour has it Santa himself may also be flying in.
When you’ve crossed the last gift off your Christmas list and eaten your fill of local, homemade goodies, stay on for the screening of The Christmas Candle, a holiday saga for all the family.
Movies at the Old School: The Christmas Candle
Deep in the heart of the English countryside lies the enchanting village of Gladbury.
Legend has it every 25 years an angel visits the village candlemaker and touches a single candle. Whoever lights this candle receives a miracle on Christmas Eve.
But in 1890, at the dawn of the electric age, this centuries-old legend is under threat.
And when the candle goes missing, the miraculous and human collide in the most astonishing Christmas the village of Gladbury has ever seen!

Screening after the Christmas Twilight Market on Saturday 21 December, 8.15pm & Sunday 22 December, 4.30pm at the Old School Arts Centre on Stewart Street.
Licensed bar from 7pm and delicious homemade snacks on sale. Adults $11, children $6.
