Cambodia comes to Raglan

After having a taste of Cambodian cuisine with Blacksand Cafe opening in the evening, Raglan looks set for the full Cambodian experience with the opening of Banteay Srey Khmer.   This new restaurant at 23 Bow St will fill the empty space left by the April closure of Zaragoza.

A sign in the window says that the restaurant will be opening soon and that staff are needed.  The restaurant is named after a 10th century hindu temple in Angkor area of Cambodia. An extensive upgrade has been carried out in the new restaurant over the last few months. The new restaurant is owned by Chamrouen Sorm who currently operates a bakery in Te Atatu.

We look forward to the opening and sampling what’s on offer!
