The survey starts with questions on where you live and how many people live in the household. It then asks an open question on what you how a bus service could meet your household needs. This is followed by questions on when you’d like to travel.
Next two options are presented showing a proposed new service:
Raglan to Hamilton- leaving Raglan at 1.40pm AND Hamilton to Raglan- leaving Hamilton at 12.15pm. This is the same for both options.
AND options A and B with the existing Raglan to Hamilton 11.20 am service and the Hamilton to Raglan 10.15 am service moved to new times.
The Options are:
A. Raglan to Hamilton- leaving Raglan at 10.40am AND Hamilton to Raglan leaving Hamilton at 9.15am.
B. Raglan to Hamilton- leaving Raglan at 9.30am AND Hamilton to Raglan leaving Hamilton at 8.10am.
The options are presented as timetables so it difficult to work out what the differences are in the two options.
The survey finishes by asking questions about the routes followed by some open questions. The map of Raglan bus stops shows the Raglan i-SITE in an incorrect position. It doesn’t show the main Raglan drop off stop in Wallis St at all.
It fails to ask questions on whether the people completing the survey are frequent or infrequent users. The two options are presented in a complex manner. So the information collected may be of limited value.
Anyway good on Busit for having a go at getting the views of its bus users.
