Learn to carve with one of New Zealand’s Finest! The Raglan Old School Arts Centre has arranged a special series of workshop for teens. This is an opportunity to come and experience a New Zealand bone carving studio in Raglan and create your own treasure and learn a new skill to take home with you. Your tutor, Rangi Wills is a Maori Master Bone Carver of 22 years. Rangi’s work sells in various galleries including Te Papa and Auckland War Memorial Museums.
Join in with one of the best bone carvers in Aotearoa for 12 hours of tuition over a 2 day period. Teenagers get a rare opportunity to make their own bone carving includes safety, preparation + cord making. No experience necessary Age 13-19 years. Supplies and materials provided. Dates 12th/13th Feb OR 19th/20th Feb! $60 for 12 Hrs over one weekend.
