Billy T and Me coming to Raglan Town Hall

The Raglan Volunteer Fire Brigade has arranged for the stage show, ‘Billy T and Me’ to come to Raglan.  A show for all the family, ‘Billy T and Me’, flashes back to the 1980s when Peter Rowley worked with Billy T James,  writing for the show and performing with Billy. Peter says he spent five years with Billy writing and performing on his show. 1985 and 1986 were undoubtedly best years of The Billy T James Show with half the population at the time tuning into each must-watch-episode.  Billy T & Me is a celebration of a partnership which touched the hearts and minds of New Zealand.

Actor Peter Rowley (aka Harrison Rowley) has worked alongside some of the great names of Kiwi comedy, including David McPhail, Jon Gadsby and Billy T. James. He’s appeared in more than 40 productions, both in comic and serious roles. The 1987 film Footrot Flats: A Dog’s (Tail) Tale wouldn’t have been the same without Rowley voicing Dog, its most lovable character.
