After a pause in December 2021 caused by Covid issues, a big crowd was back for the 2022 Raglan Community New Year’s Eve Parade in Bow Street. The parade is organised and sponsored by the Raglan Lions Club. The parade with a 7pm start draws entrants from local businesses, organisations and whanau. Tow of the most creative floats were from Raglan Museum Society – with members dressed for a historic beach trip and Raglan Community Radio – covering their range of shows. This year the parade was eight minutes long. With the traditional twice round the median strip palms making it sixteen minutes long overall.
