On 9th February The Raglan Website reported the hazardous erosoion situation in Bow St accelerated by weed spraying along the top of the bank in Cliff Street, Raglan by a person or persons unknown to the Waikato District Council. Click here for original article. I am happy to advise that the Council has now realigned the fence one metre back from the top of the bank. The immediate safety issue has been attended to and the Council can now work out a way to stop further erosion. An imprortant part of this must be Council coming up with a way to stop the unknown people from spraying weed killer along the top of the bank.
