Aug 24: Local walk close to town for Raglan Ramblers

On the 24th August, Raglan Ramblers are off on a local walk close to the town. After the walk there will then be a potluck lunch to plan their next 6 months of rambling. Low tide is just after 8am, so they will most likely use the beach and Kaitoke Walkway, as well as some of the lesser known tracks in Raglan.

Walks usually start 9am, Wednesdays from Wainui Rd car park (next to Raglan Fire Station). There is no membership – the only cost is 10 cents per km to share travel costs. Details from John 825 7866. Check out Raglan Ramblers on Facebook

Each “Rambler” accepts responsibility for any accident or injury received while travelling, or walking over private property. Be prepared – carry enough food, clothing, first aid kit for emergencies and preferably a mobile phone.
