Waikato District Council advises that they will be closing the northern part of the walkway next to the Opotoru estuary from Bow Street to the Papahua footbridge. The closure rom 19th August will last for a week. This will allow for the permanent balustrades to be installed.
Alternative access between the footbridge and Raglan CBD is available via the southern walkway off the end of Wi Neera Street.
