Come and see what Karioi Quilters and Crafters have been busy creating! This exhibition promises to be full of colour, design and pattern – you don’t need to be a quilter to admire the skills that have gone into creating these works of art.
In addition, the quilters have generously donated their time and skills to create 5 quilts using fabrics donated to the Old School from the estate of the late Mavora Hamilton – there will be a silent auction for these treasures, as well as gifts for sale.
You can meet Karioi Quilters and Crafters and learn more about their crafts on Thursday 8 August – keep an eye out for pop-up demos too, from spinning to Slow Stitching.
The exhibition wraps up on Thursday 15 August – join us at 6pm to celebrate the event and find out the results of the silent auction!
