Apr 20: Roman Rudnytsky – Concert Pianist from USA on his 14th NZ Tour

After a delay of 3 years caused by the pandemic, Roman Rudnytsky, concert pianist from the USA, is back in New Zealand for his 14th tour. His performances in Raglan a few years ago were a sellout.

So come along to Raglan Old School Arts Centre and enjoy an incredible concert. We are lucky to have this performance in Raglan. Next stop after Raglan will be the Pumphouse Theatre in Takapuna.

The concert will include works by Chopin, Ravel, Liszt, and others. Featured will be transcriptions for solo piano created by Roman Rudnytsky of the Mozart Concerto in C, K. 467 and the Beethoven Concerto No.3 in C minor, op 37.

Doors open 7:00pm for 7:30 pm start April 20, 5 Stewart St, Raglan. Raglan Old School Arts Centre.

Roman Rudnytsky is an American concert pianist of Ukrainian background. A graduate of the Juilliard School in New York, he has been performing around the world for years and has now played in 100 countries. He has been soloist with many orchestras around the world, played in 35 countries through US Embassies as a “cultural ambassador”, and played recitals on about 70 cruises of P&O (UK) and Cunard ships. He was a prizewinner in ten international and national piano competitions.

He has made 13 tours in New Zealand since the mid-1980’s and has played in Raglan before. The tour this year consists of eleven recitals.
