Over Easter, Raglan Movies at the Old School has two great movies lined up. Screenings are on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th. At the screenings of MUSIC OF STRANGERS, a short featuring Raglan local Tim Turner, will also be screened.
LOVING is a good story with great acting. Set in 1950s Virginia USA, it tells the story of Richard and Mildred Loving, a quiet and unassuming real-life couple who went on to make US history.
The MUSIC OF STRANGERS is the of the renowned international musical collective, the Silk Road Ensemble created by legendary cellist Yo-Yo Ma with musicians from several countries including Turkey, Syria, Spain and Iran. It’s a film about musicians and their camaraderie, the power of music to preserve tradition and to shape cultural evolution.
A special extra three minute short will precede The Music of Strangers. This will be the premiere of “Union” featuring Raglanite Tim Turner. The film was created from a poem written by Tim. The poem, also called “Union”, is about Tim’s 3 legged dog Boiski and I. The film has been produced by Touch Compass, the dance company.

All love is created equal.
