ANZAC Day Parade in Raglan on Sunday

Raglan ANZAC Parade 2007

The annual ANZAC Day parade will take place in Raglan on Sunday 25th. Bow Street will be closed and the commemorative service will take place outside the Council office opposite the cenotaph.  This year the parade will be joined by The NZ Army’s 161st Battery will join the parade once again.  The Navy will also be present.

10.50am
Parade will form at the corner of Bow Street and Wainui Road.

11am
Service will be held at the memorial in Bow Street.
The role of Guard of the Memorial will be taken by the Hamilton Fraser High School Cadet Unit.
Then wreaths will be presented.

After the Service join the RSA at the Raglan Club where a cup of tea or coffee will be available.

The Raglan and the ANZACS exhibition at the Raglan Museum in Wainui Road will open when the parade has finished.
