Raglan Museum has picked up another award. This time as an entrant in the Commercial Project Awards. The awards were presented at a National Gala Dinner last night (Saturday 11 May 2013) at the Viaduct Events Centre in Auckland. The museum building was a BRONZE AWARD WINNER in the Tourism And Leisure category.
The Museum and Information Centre building was constructed by Livingstone Building NZ Ltd, designed by Envision Architecture Limited (Architect/Designer) and JD Consulting Engineers Limited (Engineer). The building is owned by the Waikato District Council, with the musuem operated by the Raglan & District Museum Society Inc. and the i-SITE by the Waikato Enterprise Agency.
The Supreme Award went to Hawkins Constrcution for the Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin.
