Aaron went out searching to the limits of inventivity creating a liver and lamb roll matched with a pear and cheese coulis. It was plated with a collection of baby vegetables. The judges weren’t impressed by the first impression with Josh saying, “It’s really really unusual.”
After tasting it and discussing it for sometime, the judges gave it the nod with Simon summing it up with, “It looks terrible but it has some quite incredible tastes going on there.” And Josh concluding that, “I think Aaron’s given us something quite way out there.”
Aaron’s way out creation was enough to ensure he made it to the Top Three. MasterChef New Zealand continues next Sunday on TV One with a degustation challenge.
