Aerpas in Raglan

Down at the end of Electric Avenue, I spotted a new food outlet at the weekend.  Arepa, a taco pocket dish made of ground dough or cooked flour, was being sold from a van called Juantanamera. Arepas are very prominent in the cuisine of Colombia and Venezuela, and can also be found in Panama, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, the Canary Islands and now Raglan.

A sign on the van says they are low-fat, gluten-free, cheap ($7.50) and tasty.
