Raglan man Aaron Brunet was again judged to be one of the top contestants in this week’s episode of MasterChef New Zealand.
Contestants were given the last supper challenge – to make the meal they’d eat on the last day of their life. Aaron – who recently spoke at a Raglan Chamber of Commerce breakfast – impressed judges with his rustic yota soup served with savoury scones and handmade butter. Chef judge Josh Emmett commented “You’ve taken a simple dish and turned it into a culinary masterpiece.” This week’s top contestants won a dining experience with chef Ben Bayly at the Grove restaurant in Auckland.
