Aaron handles MasterChef mystery well

Raglan man Aaron Brunet was again among the top contestants in this week’s episode of MasterChef New Zealand.

This week contestants were given a mystery box challenge, which included a whole Pekin duck. Aaron’s dish of duck thigh croquettes, a mango and duck breast salad and mushrooms wrapped in silverbeet impressed the judges, with chef Simon Gault saying, “You nail it every time.” As well as passing to the next round, Aaron and the other top four contestants won an 11-course dinner at the chef’s table at Simon Gault’s restaurant Euro.

Aaron will be speaking about his experiences on MasterChef at Tuesday’s breakfast meeting of the Raglan Chamber of Commerce.
