The big fishing tournament is coming to Raglan from February 18-20. With $30,000 in prizes in the Buccaneer Boats One Base Tournament, anglers will be after marlin, tuna, albacore, kingfish, snapper, trevalli and kahawai. Boaties can leave from inside the harbour or from the Manu Bay boat ramp but must be back before 5pm. It is expected that some boaties will head 100km off the West Coast.
The tournament is organised by the Waikato Sport Fishing Club. Registrations will be taken at the Raglan Club in Bow St, Raglan on the 17th Feb, between 5pm and 7pm, prior to the briefing.
