A few short showers didn’t stop the 2015 Maui Dolphin Day being a community winner. As well as a great choice of information and food stalls, there was local music on throughout the day.  Local groups including Sambatron, Muroki, Amelia Penfold, Nicky Keys, Raglan Singing Club and the Raglan Area School with the Maui Dolphin Song. A Circus performance and a haka added to the fun. With a big line-up of kids waiting for the Maui Dolphin Obstacle Course it got the message about the plight of the dolphins across in fun way.

The Recycled Raft Race saw entrants tackling the blustery conditions. The winner was of the 2015 Exteme Zero Waste Recycled Raft Race was Roger Gibbs and the Macdonald boys entry from Waitetuna. Some entries sank fairly early in the race while others made it to the finish only with the help of the safety vessels.
