Back in 2010 when we last ran a Best Burger Poll, Vinnies was the clear winner. With Vinnies and other 2010 contenders no longer on the scene, the new winner in the best burger poll for 2015 is Raglan Kopua Domain Store/ Jo’s Takeaways. The poll was conducted by the Raglan 23 Website during late 2014 and January 2015. Jo’s Takeaways went into the lead early on and held it with 41% of the votes.
Other strong contenders were The Shack on 21%, Orca on 16%, and Mama-T’s Fish & Chip Shop on 9%.
Overall a total of 95 people voted in the poll, which asked the question, “In terms of taste, presentation and service which of the following has hamburgers that are best value for money?” We use the value question as it best captures the purchasing behaviour of people buying burgers in Raglan.
