The Variety Bash is the signature fundraising event for Variety – The Children’s Charity. The Bash is a convoy of pre-1976 or unique vehicles which tours the country raising money and distributing grants for the benefit of children throughout New Zealand.
Unlike the main Bash, any type or age of vehicle can participate in the Variety Mini Bash (as long as it is roadworthy and legal) from corporate fleet cars to the family sedan.
As the Mini Bash is an introduction to the main Bash, there is no vehicle entry fee – each team member must pay $400 (GST inclusive) for their meals and entertainment. Accommodation costs are separate and the responsibility of each team.
