At its first meeting on the 12th of November 2013 the new Raglan Community Board (RCB) passed a resolution saying, “AND THAT the Raglan Community Board holds its meetings on the second Tuesday of each month commencing at 6.00pm”?http://waidc.govt.nz/CMSFiles/
You’d think that was a pretty clear instruction to the Waikato District Council. However using the quirky approach favoured by Ngaruawahia the next meeting in December is being advertised as the first Tuesday of the month (3rd December). (See below).
The resolution passed by RCB also covered the community forum held before each meeting of the Raglan Community Board, “It was noted that the Public Forum would commence at 5.30pm, prior to each meeting.” As the public notice advertising the community board meeting didn’t mention the forum we asked CEO Gavin Ion about it. He said that there will be a community forum beforehand (at 5.30pm).
