On Saturday the 7th May 2011, the 17th Annual Whaingaroa Hoe will be held in Raglan Whaingaroa. It’s the second biggest event of its type after the nationals. The regatta attracts hundreds of paddlers from all over the North Island.
Paddlers will compete in:
7km Novice Race
7km Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Race
12km OC1/ OC2/ V1/ Surfski Race
25km OC6 Mens, Women’s and Mixed Race
The prestigious Chrissy Herbert Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the first Women’s Team to cross the line. And there is an additional prize for the top club.
