The band, An Emerald City is working in a studio in Riverhead which is North of Auckland, where they are mixing their second album The Fourth. It is in the country, there are a handful of cows within about 20 metres from their mixing desk, lots of trees and a river nearby. So great for creativity and nice for the band to be home for the summer. They plan to finish the album by week’s end.

It is very different to anything else on the album, but all 8 songs seem to have their own life this time around..
The band is now at home in New Zealand until April and begin touring the country with some amazing bands in February and March. There are around 26 gigs in total including Raglan, where they will be playing with The Checks.
Then they will be heading back to Berlin soon after to release the album in Germany, and possibly further afield later in the year.. with tour dates in Europe in the summer and beyond.
