A large crowd lined vantage points at the end of Bow Street, on the footbridge and at Kopua to welcome in 2011 with a ten minute fireworks display. Revellers danced on picnic tables waiting for the countdown and were then awed by the superb display which started at midnight. The fireworks were set off from the Kopua Domain. The fireworks display was organised by the Raglan Cultural & Events Trust and sponsored by WEL Networks.
