Spike in Raglan visitors – Level 3.2 and plenty of sun

Papahua Domain launching ramp on Sunday 7th November

After a Labour Weekend cancelled by the weather and Covid, the weekend of November 6th and 7th saw Raglan open up with the Papahua Domain launching ramp busier than Boxing Day as boats were launched. The spike in Raglan visitors came from the first weekend at Covid Level 3.2 and plenty of sun.

In the Raglan CBD, shops and galleries were open for people to enjoy. Many took advantage of the takeaway picnic packs and meals available from cafes.

While cafes were closed, their takeaway doors and windows were open for coffee fixes. And Wainui Bush Park is a great place to enjoy a cappuccino and do the crossword.
