Long wait but Council meetings now to be live streamed

When asked over the last few years about live streaming Council meetings, the answer was, “Not possible”. Now with the Covid-19 emergency, live streaming suddenly is possible. So no need to head over the hill to Ngaruawahia anymore as the next meeting of the Waikato District Council Wednesday (6 May) will be live streamed from the Council website on the Council’s YouTube channel HERE.

Tune in and watch your Raglan councillor Lisa Thomson and the other councillors in action.

Council Extraordinary Meeting

Location: Council Chambers, 15 Galileo Street, Ngaruawahia Date: 09:00am Wed, 06 May 2020

The general nature of the business to be conducted at this meeting is to consider the following matters:

  1. Emergency Committee Delegations
  2. Financial Update to 31 March 2020
  3. Local Government Funding Agency Debt report
  4. 3rd Quarter Non-financial Performance Report
  5.  Funding Source for Council s Contribution for Three Waters Study
  6. Extension of Dog Registration Discount Period 2020
  7. Appointment of Maangai Maaori to Council Committees (public excluded).

Due to Covid-19 WDC are using Zoom to live-stream and record meetings until further notice.  Details of the Council and its agendas can be viewed on  the Council’s website
