Feb 5: Ramblers to cross Kawhia Harbour to Te Maika

On the 5th February, Raglan Ramblers are heading south to Te Maika, at the entrance to Kawhia Harbour. This area has caves, fossilised tree roots, 1950s baches, an old school, no roads plus views to Pirongia, Karioi and Albatross Pt. Low tide will be at 1.20pm. Please bring your lunch and $20
boat fare.

Each “Rambler” accepts responsibility for any accident or injury received while travelling, or walking over private property. Be prepared – carry enough food, clothing, first aid kit for emergencies and preferably a mobile phone.
