Saturday 23rd March 2019 saw the Whaingaroa Environment Centre hold the 14th edition of the Maui Dolphin Day under ideal sunny and smooth harbour conditions. Run annually in conjunction with the Xtreme Zero Waste Recycled Raft Race, it is the largest community day in Raglan. The celebration highlights the importance of the marine environment and the Popoto / Maui Dolphin.
A huge crowd of visitors shared the food, played games, had their face painted at the Whaingaroa Environment Centre , listened to some great music then enjoyed the wet and funky Recycled Raft Race.
