A meeting of the West Coast Catchments Committee will be held on Wednesday 5 September 2018 at 10.00am in the Council Chambers, Waikato Regional Council, 401 Grey Street, Hamilton East.
Currently the committee has no Chair or Deputy Chair, so the first agenda point will be to select people for these two roles.
The committee’s members are Fred Lichtwark, Lisa Thomson, Deborah Pilkington, Annette Williams, Sue Smith, Natasha Hayward, Mark Brough, Catherine Holland , Tom Mandeno, John Reeves, Mike Moss, Kristel van Houte, Stephen Reid, Weo Maag, Wayne Jensen, Ray Wi, Konui Taylor, Maxine Moana‐Tuwhangai , Stu Kneebone, and Alan Livingston or Tipa Mahuta.
Only four from this list are needed for a quorum.
The remainder of the meeting will look at:
- The work programme being carried out by WRC on throughout the Zone,
- Biodiversity in the Zone,
- The occurrence of pest plants occurring in riparian margins,
- The proposed development of a National Pest Management Plan for kauri dieback,
- An update on the Regional Asset Management Plan.
