On the 29th August, Raglan Ramblers are off to Phillips Rd for a walk beside the Pakoka estuary. This is a three kilometre walk, dropping 140 metres to the picturesque, winding channel, where the river, which has come over Waireinga/ Bridal Veil Falls, merges into Aotea Harbour. Then they will head back up the Motakotako valley. Please bring your lunch.

Walks usually start 9 am, Wednesdays.  With cones almost blocking off the Wainui Rd car park, this ramble will meet near the corner of James and John streets.  There is no membership – the only cost is 10 cents per km to share travel costs. Details from John 825 7866. Check out Raglan Ramblers on Facebook-https://www.facebook.com/RaglanRamblers/ .

Each “Rambler” accepts responsibility for any accident or injury received while travelling, or walking over private property. Be prepared – carry enough food, clothing, first aid kit for emergencies and preferably a mobile phone.
