A car stolen from Hamilton was driven to Raglan along SH 23 on Friday night (5th Jan). Police laid out spikes on SH 23 blowing the car’s tyres. It then continued on wheel rims down Bow Street, heading across the roundabout into Bankart Street, eventually coming to a stop when it hit the storage unit behind the Raglan Four Square just after midnight on 6th January.

The occupants of the car ran off and a search followed involving several police units including a police dog. People leaving the  Sons of Zion at the Raglan Club saw flashing lights over rooftops. Sightings of the group were reported to Police by local residents. Two Hamilton people were caught and arrested.
