Earlier this month, Warehouse Building Supplies moved from 1 Wallis Street, Raglan leaving an empty shop and timber yard. The Hardware and timber company is moving to the Nau Mai Business Park, just east of Raglan on SH 23. But its new building wasn’t ready when it’s old lease ran out so there will be a short delay before it reopens at Nau Mai.

So at this time the only source of hardware in Raglan is the small selection at the back of the SuperValue, plus a few items at the $2 dollar shop.

People wanting keys cut have Raglan Locksmiths available at 5 Bankart Street. Mobile 021 153 1574.

It seems that a new home and hardware shop will be opening soon at 1 Wallis Street. A sign on the window says that the premises are closed for refurbishment and that THE RAGLAN PROJECT will be opening soon. This company is owned by Raglanites Yjosine BARRY and Gilleen BURTENSHAW. It was started in April 2017 and is a hardware retailing company. The phone number given for enquiries is 825 8881.
