Cryptic message about Raglan Museum

In a brief letter to the Raglan Chronicle, Patrick Day, President of the Raglan Museum has advised that the Raglan Museum collection has been moved away from the old museum building.  Mr Day thanked the Raglan Rugby Club for assisting with the move.

Meanwhile there has been no update from the Waikato District Council on the start of construction of the proposed new building for the Raglan Museum.   At the meeting of the Raglan Community Board on 14th September,  Cr Baddeley advised that the contract for the new Raglan Museum and Information Centre has been let to Livingston Construction Ltd.  This company operates in the Waikato – Bay of Plenty regions and was established in 1947. At this years Waikato Registered Master Builder Awards, Livingston achieved a Category win and Silver award for Te Kohao Health and a Category win and Gold award for Lauriston Park Village Centre.

Paint makings on the ground and survey pegs have been noticed on the new museum site.
