Media Release: Waikato Rescue Helicopter Pilots, 11.20pm 11th July 2016
The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Raglan on the evening of 11th July. The flight was made to assist and transport a 11 year old boy that sustained burns to his face from an explosion in a fire that he was attending.
The patient is now in Waikato Hospital ED. The mission was completed with the aid of Night Vision Goggles.
