Great weather saw big crowds in Raglan over Anniversary weekend. The cafes and beaches were full and cars packed in along Cliff St for picnics.

The Raglan Arts Weekend got underway on Saturday complemented by the Little Food Festival. The main event takes places in artist studios where many opened their doors for the weekend allowing visitors to have a look at art in action. A number of artists based themselves at the Old School Arts Centre.

The Arts Weekend has drawn art lovers to Raglan since 2008. This year, they had the added bonus of a silent auction of high quality art works at the Old School. Many waited till the last minute on Sunday morning before placing their bids.
