A fire has badly damaged the Marlin cafe at the end of Wallis St near Raglan Wharf. Raglan Volunteer Fire Fighters were called out at about 4.2opm this afternoon to attend to a fire at the Marlin cafe. Raglan Police and Ambulance also attended the fire. The fire fighters brought the fire under control and the building appears to be intact and it did not spread to adjacent buildings. The fire appears to have been towards the rear of the building. Roofing iron was pulled off to allow the fire to be put out. By 5pm some smoke was still visible.
