This exhibition includes tiny three-dimensional objects made from traditional painting mediums – oil on canvas and wood supports. The show is designed to ask the question “What actually is a painting?”
Amanda works in a studio alongside the gallery space so viewers will have an opportunity to speak with the artist and see additional influences of her work.
Amanda has achieved a Bachelor of Fine Art (1996), and has worked as an artist in Hamilton and Raglan since 1998, showing her work in the Waikato, Auckland, Napier and overseas.
Amanda will be hosting an informal discussion about the exhibition on Saturday 15th May at 11am in the gallery. All welcome to attend and join the discussion.
