If you thought Saturday was busy in Raglan, then what about Sunday 25th? Even more people here enjoying all that our great town has to offer. A few complained about delays on SH23 and at the one-way bridge on Wainui Rd, but hey why not just slow down and enjoy the great scenery.

On Sunday we decided to do the central loop of artist studios, first taking in Hello Studio where Jodi Collins, Wanda Barker have work on display and then onto Government Road. At 27 we visited Lois Brooks and then at 21 we called in on Jenny Rhodes. Both reported a steady stream of visitors and good sales.

Next we called in at Tina Wessling at 58 Wallis St where she has a multimedia display taking advantage of an underlying framework of Eco Windows.  Around the corner in Cross St we visited Studeo to see Chris Meek’s latest work and Annick Faubert working on a new taxidermy creation.

The Raglan Arts Weekend continues on Monday 26th for its last day. Remember if you are coming to Raglan that on these busy days, the parking warden does visit, so to avoid a ticket you need to stick to the posted time limits and not park on the median strip in Bow St.
